Kristof Coussement’s work primarily aims to advance the business analytics field by developing innovative, value-creating decision and support frameworks using data science. He is recognized internationally for his work on incorporating textual data sources into conventional – mainly predictive modeling – settings using text analytics and deep learning methodologies and his contributions to the field of interpretable data science. He has also successfully set up a number of long-term innovative data science projects with companies including Crédit Agricole, Oney, Leroy Merlin, InSites Consulting, La Redoute, mealhero, Enfocus, amongst others.
