Ghassan Yacoub is a Professor of Innovation and Strategy at IÉSEG School of Management in Paris and the Academic Director of the MBA – Leadership and Coding track. He holds a PhD and Master’s degrees and graduated with distinction from ESCP Business School, Bayes Business School (formerly Cass), and Imperial College London. His academic research lies around the sources, value capture, and management of strategic, innovation, and entrepreneurial processes within, outside, and between firms. His research has been published in international conferences and journals such as Organization and R&D Management. Prior to his academic career, he worked as an M&A Investment Banker at advisory boutiques and at J.P. Morgan where he was responsible for transaction origination and execution of cross-border M&A mandates. He also worked as a strategic consultant advising global clients on strategic planning, restructuring, and digital transformation.
