ABDALLA MIKHAEIL Christine

Christine Abdalla Mikhaeil has been a professor at IÉSEG since September 2018, and is also a member of Lille Economie Management (LEM), a joint research unit (no. 9221) of the French National Centre for Scientific Research (CNRS). She holds a Ph.D. in Information Systems from Georgia State University and a Ph.D. in Management Sciences from Paris-Dauphine University.
Her research focuses on the intersection of technological, organizational, and societal issues such as the spread of misinformation and conspiracy theories through social media, digital risks to our democracies, and cyber risks related to artificial intelligence (notably Shadow AI and Deepfakes).
Beyond research, she shares her expertise by teaching in the school’s “Managing Cybersecurity” Certificate, the Master in Cybersecurity Management at IÉSEG, and regularly speaks at international conferences, notably at the InCyber Forum Europe 2026.
