ABDALLA MIKHAEIL Christine

Christine Abdalla Mikhaeil is an assistant professor at the IÉSEG School of Management since September 2018. She holds a Ph.D. from Georgia State University in information systems and a Ph.D. from Paris-Dauphine University in business administration. Her ongoing research projects address both societal and organizational challenges.

At the societal level, her ongoing projects revolve around social media-related phenomena in two specific contexts: i) Digital activism to understand how social movements rise and fall, and ii) Disinformation to understand why and how conspiracy theories persist and persevere over time on these platforms.  At the organizational level, her ongoing projects revolve around  value creation and capture in firm-hosted online communities as well as cybersecurity-related topics.

Her works appear in Information Systems Journal,  Information & Organization and Information & Management.
