SHEN Zhiyang

Zhiyang SHEN is an Associate Professor at IÉSEG School of Management. He is a member of the CNRS, UMR 9221 – LEM – Lille Economie Management. He holds a HDR ( (HDR – Habilitation à Diriger des  Recherches) and a Ph.D. in economics from University of Lille, France.

He is dedicated to modelling the integration of undesirable outputs, such as pollutants, into assessments of efficiency and productivity. He focuses on incorporating environmental externalities into the analysis of economic and social dimensions. He also endeavors to explore models in environmental and energy economics, notably investigating how sustainable development can be realized through energy transition and financial instruments.
