Position Assistant Professor

Suwan (Cheng) Long is an Assistant Professor of Finance at IÉSEG School of Management and a member of LEM-CNRS. She holds a Ph.D. in Finance from Trinity College Dublin and has a strong research background from her time at the University of Cambridge’s Judge Business School. Her research focuses on corporate finance, sustainable finance, fintech, and central bank communications, with earlier work exploring the environmental and financial implications of cryptocurrencies. Suwan’s work has been published in leading finance and economics journals and has been cited by both policymakers and industry leaders. She has served as a visiting professor at several European universities and is an active member of academic associations, regularly reviewing for top journals in the field. Her research has also been supported by competitive funding from major institutions in France.

She is also a member of Lille Economie Management (LEM), a joint research unit (no. 9221) of the French National Centre for Scientific Research (CNRS).
