POPE Shawn

Educated at Duke (BA) and Stanford University (MA, PhD), Shawn is an associate professor of Business Strategy at IÉSEG School of Management; an instructor at Stanford University through the Pre-Collegiate Studies program; and a holder of the Chartered Financial Analyst designation. His research has appeared in “Financial Times 50” journals, books by Oxford University and Cambridge University Press, and outlets for practicing managers, including Harvard Business Review, MIT Sloan Management Review, and the London School of Economics Business Review. His research has been covered by media outlets such as The Hill, The Economic Times, and Bloomberg. He is an award-winning teacher with 15+ years of experience in classrooms in the USA, Europe, and Asia at the high school, bachelor’s, master’s, and MBA levels in courses on globalization, business strategy, entrepreneurship, business ethics, and corporate social responsibility.
