Professor Maja Korica is a Full Professor of Strategic Management at IÉSEG and an expert in executive leadership and management. She completed her DPhil (Ph.D.) in Management Studies at Said Business School, University of Oxford, studying how boards of directors work in practice. She then spent two years examining the work of healthcare chief executives in England. She has since researched coordination in notably challenging settings, including technical preparation during Paris fashion week, and response efforts in the midst of refugee emergencies. She lectures on subjects like executive leadership, strategy, change management and inclusion, including advising major international companies. In 2017, she was shortlisted for the Thinkers50 Radar Award, which aims to identify management thinkers most likely to shape the future of how organizations are led and managed. She was born in Zagreb, Croatia.
