Full Professor
Jonas Debrulle is a Professor at IÉSEG School of Management (France) and a Guest Professor at KU Leuven (Belgium). He holds doctoral degrees from KU Leuven and the Queensland University of Technology (Brisbane, Australia). He previously served as Director of Programs at IÉSEG, where he oversaw both undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. His teaching focuses on technology entrepreneurship and the strategic implications of AI. In recognition of his teaching excellence, he has received multiple awards from both KU Leuven and IÉSEG.
Jonas’s research examines how business owner characteristics influence start-up development, as well as how AI shapes strategic business behaviour. His work has been published in leading journals, including Entrepreneurship & Regional Development, the International Small Business Journal, the Journal of Small Business Management, and Small Business Economics, as well as in books published by McGraw-Hill. Prior to his academic career, he worked as a business consultant and project management officer at Delaware Consulting, a leading ERP service provider.
Jonas is also a member of Lille Economie Management (LEM), a joint research unit (no. 9221) of the French National Centre for Scientific Research (CNRS).
