ALIMOV Azizjon

Azizjon Alimov is an Associate Professor of Finance at IÉSEG School of Management. He received his Ph.D. in Finance from the University of Oregon (U.S.A.). His recent research examines how legal institutions, financial markets and government policies influence firms’ major investment and capital-raising decisions, competitive performance, and the design of financial contracts between borrowers and lenders. He has publications in leading business and economic journals such as the Journal of International Business Studies, Journal of Law and Economics, Journal of Corporate Finance, Corporate Governance: An International Review, Small Business Economics, and Journal of International Money and Finance. Prior to joining IÉSEG, he was a faculty member at City University of Hong Kong, the University of British Columbia (visiting), and the University of Arizona (visiting).
