Athanasios Triantafyllou is a Professor in Finance at IÉSEG School of Management. Prior to joining the School, he was an Assistant Professor at the Essex Business School, University of Essex (UK). He has previously worked as a consultant in Risk Management at the Quantitative Advisory Services department of Ernst & Young that specializes in market risk projects for major US investment banks. He has also worked as a general equilibrium modeler at E3MLab (ICCS-NTUA). He holds a Ph.D. in Finance from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. His research interests focus on empirical asset pricing, commodity derivative markets and on the dynamic interactions between financial markets and the macroeconomy. His work has been published in leading finance and economics journals such as the Journal of International Money and Finance, Energy Economics and the Journal of Agricultural Economics.
