In this video, Yulia Titova, Professor of finance at IESEG, speaks about the role of corporate social responsibility (CSR) in the context of organizational restructuring and mass layoffs. Her research with her co-authors provides evidence that both the level and duration of CSR practices play a significant role in building a company’s legitimacy during restructuring activities, and that this role depends on the restructuring context.
