Position Assistant Professor

Calliope M. Sudborough is an Assistant Professor of International Negotiation at IÉSEG School of Management and an expert in international commercial dispute resolution. A U.S.-trained lawyer admitted to the New York Bar, she holds a Juris Doctor from Suffolk University Law School (Boston, USA) and a Ph.D. in Law from the University Panthéon-Assas Paris II (France).

Dr. Sudborough is also a trained mediator, drawing on extensive experience as Deputy Manager of the International Centre for ADR at the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC), where she supervised hundreds of international commercial disputes. Her research focuses on negotiation, conflict management, mediation and investment treaty disputes, with a passion for exploring innovative approaches to conflict resolution.

She is the author of Mediating Sovereign Debt Disputes, a pivotal resource for understanding complex international financial negotiations.
