Position Associate Professor

Paola D’Orazio is Associate Professor of Economics, specializing in international macroeconomics and finance. Her research examines how central banks and financial regulators address systemic financial instability, with a focus on climate-related risks and the transition to a low-carbon economy. She developed the Climate-Related Financial Policy Index (CRFPI), a measure of national engagement in green financial policymaking. She regularly provides scientific expertise to institutions such as the OECD, GIZ, the World Bank and the South African Reserve Bank on climate-related financial regulation and sustainability-oriented policy design.  

She is also a member of Lille Economie Management (LEM), a joint research unit (no. 9221) of the French National Centre for Scientific Research (CNRS).
