{"id":7611,"date":"2024-05-10T09:43:00","date_gmt":"2024-05-10T07:43:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/insights.ieseg.fr\/?p=7611"},"modified":"2024-09-09T15:21:15","modified_gmt":"2024-09-09T13:21:15","slug":"workshop-trends-developments-sustainable-green-international-finance","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/insights.ieseg.fr\/en\/resource-center\/economics-finance\/workshop-trends-developments-sustainable-green-international-finance\/","title":{"rendered":"Workshop: recent trends and new developments in sustainable, green and international finance"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>On the 13th &amp; 14th May I\u00c9SEG<em><strong> <\/strong><\/em>will host a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ieseg.fr\/en\/events\/workshop-recent-trends-and-new-developments-in-sustainable-green-and-international-finance\/\">workshop<\/a> (on its Paris campus) bringing together around 30 international researchers who will discuss and present their work on trends in the fields of sustainable, green and international finance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Co-organized with Audencia, Edhec and the University of Vaasa (Finland), the researchers (including <a href=\"https:\/\/insights.ieseg.fr\/en\/about-ieseg\/\">faculty from I\u00c9SEG<\/a>) from different continents will present a variety of new research across four different sessions:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2022&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; <strong>Climate finance<\/strong> (e.g. climate change management and impact on financial performance).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2022&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; <strong>Sustainable finance<\/strong> (e.g. trade-offs between the environmental and social pillars of ESG scores).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2022&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; <strong>International finance<\/strong> (e.g ESG relevance in credit risk of development banks)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2022&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; <strong>Green finance<\/strong> (e.g. impact of green financial and fiscal policies on environmental and non-environmental innovation).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On the first day of the workshop, Professor John W.
