Romain Oberson is Professor of Accounting at I\u00c9SEG School of Management and Research Fellow at HEC Lausanne (Switzerland). He holds a Ph.D. in Economics from HEC Lausanne, and his research focuses on the economic consequences of financial and non-financial information produced by banks, as well as on banking regulation. He is particularly interested in the role of accounting in banks’ investment behavior and in financial stability. His work has been published in journals such as European Accounting Review and Accounting and Business Research.
