She holds a Ph.D. in Business Economics from Ghent University (Belgium). Her research focuses on digital marketing strategies, particularly the advertising effectiveness of visual and interactive appeals. Through research and company collaborations, she also investigates how to promote healthy and sustainable consumption with nudge marketing. Her teaching domains are situated in digital communication, consumer behavior, and omnichannel marketing. She has published several articles in international journals and is a regular reviewer for various academic journals.
