Ra\u00fal Barroso Casado is an Associate Professor of Accounting and holds a Ph.D. from the University of Lausanne (Switzerland). His research covers a range of topics such as corporate governance, corporate ownership and audit fees, performance measurement systems, family firms and wealth management, and shareholder protection. His work has been published in prestigious journals such as The Accounting Review, Journal of Corporate Finance, Accounting in Europe, European Accounting Review, Comptabilit\u00e9 Contr\u00f4le Audit, and Corporate Governance International Review. He has also contributed to the collective book \u201cResponsible Management Practices for the 21st Century,\u201d which highlights the connection between corporate governance, responsible management, and control systems. He is also the Academic Director of the Master in International Accounting, Audit, and Contro<\/a>l.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
