Hayley Walker\u2019s expertise lies in the field of large-scale international negotiations between governments, such as the United Nations climate change summits and the Ministerial Conferences of the World Trade Organization. She is interested in how the negotiation process can influence the quality of the negotiation outcome, and her doctoral research investigated the drivers and consequences of trust in the governments and officials elected to chair the negotiation process. Hayley believes that insights from the field of business and management should be combined with knowledge of world politics to increase the effectiveness of international organisations.
