He also serves as an expert\/evaluator for the European Commission and as Associate Editor for Empirical Economics and International Economics.<br>Before joining academia, he worked as Senior Economist at Banque de France and later as Senior Economist and Data Scientist at QuantCube Technology. He received his Ph.D. in Economics from <em>Universit\u00e9 Paris Nanterre<\/em>, awarded by several national and international prizes, and more recently the OPEC Award for best energy research paper and the Springer Nature Editorial Contribution Award (2025). His research focuses on commodity market dynamics, particularly crude oil, and on research policy and integrity.
